
A 26-year-old man died in the early hours of Sunday after falling three metres from the stairs of a basement pub in Limassol, CNA reported.
The accident happened at around 2.15am when the man lost his balance. According to the reports he apparently decided to slide down the handrail of the stairs but fell over the side, sustaining fatal head injuries.
He was taken to Limassol general hospital by ambulance but was pronounced dead by doctors.
Limassol police are investigating.
