A 25-year-old motorcyclist is in critical condition after colliding with a car shortly after midnight on Sunday in Nicosia.
According to police, the car, driven by a 23-year-old man, collided with the motorbike around 0.30am under conditions which are being investigated.
The injured man was transferred to Nicosia General Hospital by ambulance.
He is being held for further treatment in the neurosurgical department due to multiple injuries and is in critical condition.
