A 55-year-old businessman from Larnaca was arrested on Sunday in connection with a blast outside the home of a 32-year-old woman in Oroklini in the early hours.
According to the Police, the 55 year old businessman, a nightclub owner from Oroklini, is facing charges of conspiracy to commit a felony, attempted destruction of property with explosives, threats, usury and extortion.
The man was arrested after the father of the 32-year-old woman gave a statement to police.
Damage was caused to a patio and French window at the back of the woman’s home when the explosive device went off at around 3am on Sunday.
The suspect is expected to appear before the Larnaca court on Monday.
