A 23-year-old man was arrested after he was caught speeding on the Limassol to Nicosia motorway late on Monday.
According to traffic police, the man was stopped for a check around 11.40pm after he was spotted driving at 187kph instead of abiding to the maximum speed limit of 100kph.
He was taken to Pera Chorio police station where he was charged in writing and then released. Police said the man is expected to appear in court.
