Limassol police are looking for a man who walked into a cafeteria early on Thursday morning and walked off with the cash register tray containing around €1100.
Police said the incident occurred at around 4.30 am. They said that an unknown man wearing a hood had entered the cafeteria and without saying a word, walked up to behind the counter where a 27 year woman employee was standing at the till and grabbed the tray with the cash.
When the employee tried to stop him, he pushed her to the ground and ran off.
The suspect is described as 1.70 metres tall and of slight build, aged between 20 to 25. At the time of the robbery he was wearing a black sweatpants and light blue hoodie.
Limassol CID are investigating.
